Hi ,
Ayurvedic Body Composition
Your Ayurvedic Body Profile is of type
Pita is made up of elements fire and water.
Fire makes you sharp and hot and water balances you out by adding fluidity and oiliness.
Body:
The Pita body size is usually medium in weight and size with flexible joints. Pita’s have warm body temperature, sensitive skin and soft/ fine hair. Your metabolism is quick and you sweat easily. As a Pita, you tend to have a high metabolic rate and are therefore always hungry and thirsty. It’s important for you to eat your meals at regular times and drink a lot of water.
Mind:
Pita’s have sharp mind and intellect. They are passionate with good ability to concentrate and make quick decisions. They have perfectionist tendencies and can sometimes ignore the needs of their bodies .
When out of balance the Pita mind gets easily irritated and can be impatient, critical and jealous. Calming music, as well as walks in nature are recommended to calm and subdue your fiery nature.
Lifestyle:
As a Pita, it is good to find outlets for your high energy and intensity that are creative and aggressive.
You may be prone to hyperacidity and premature greying of hair.
Food:
It’s fiery nature means that to balance it out, individuals are advised to enjoy colder, more cooling and slightly heavier foods. It is the only Dosha for which raw salads are a great choice. The main tastes recommended for a Pita Dosha are sweet, bitter and astringent. Spicy and hot foods are to be avoided because they aggravate the dosha by increasing its temperature and reducing the fluidity.
