When I came across Kesh King, its ingredients list actually got my attention. It has Manjistha. Brahmi, Amla, Jatamansi, Methi, Neem, Curry Patta and more such ingredients which are incredibly amazing for hair. To be honest, it is actually quite difficult to find these ingredients separately because according to Ayurveda, there is no hair problem these won’t cure. So naturally, when I realized that Kesh King Oil is a concoction of all these beautiful rare ingredients, I was super impressed. If I may, I will go into a little details about what each ingredient does Manjistha ( Rubia cordifolia) – known for its purifying properties and significant role in hair fall control. This also is said to control pre mature greying of hair. Brahmi (Bacopq monnieri) – works on the scalp and deals with dandruff, scalp acne etc. Eventually ensures healthy hair growth. Amla (Emblica officinalis) – has strong anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. It is super rich in vitamin c which is a good antioxidant. Ultimately it ensures great scalp health for good hair growth. Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi) – This is a very potent ingredient for hair growth. It is said to cure “Tridosha – Vatta, Pitta and Kaph” thereby ensuring reduced hair fall. In Ayurveda, it is believed that hair fall is mainly due to accumulation of Vata dosha in the body. This ingredient balances it out. Also, this has a very significant role in hair fall control and hair growth. Methi (Trigonela foenum graecum) – rich in flavonoids and saponins, this is believed to induce hair growth. Also this help in getting rid of tangles from hair and makes it smoother. Neem ( Melia azadirachta)- a potent anti bacterial and anti fungal, this has a good anti-inflammatory effect as well. It is said to make the hair follicles strong and promote hair growth. Curry Patta ( Murraya koenigii) – this is full of beta carotene as well as proteins. This helps reduce hair fall as well as regenerate dormant hair follicles in order to allow new hair growth. These are some of the most potent ingredients in this bottle that I am familiar with. If you do some research on all the ingredients present in the ingredients list, I am sure you will find a lot more goodness inside. The Kesh king oil comes in a nice green translucent colour bottle with a flip open top. They provide a deep root comb along with the oil. This is basically an attachment and you can take off the top of the oil bottle and fix this deep root comb instead. It helps in applying the oil on the scalp and close to the roots without having to dip your fingers again and again in the oil. It comes in 3 sizes – 50 mL, 100 mL and 300 mL. The oil actually has this greenish amber colour to it and it smells really herbal. The consistency is medium with a nice texture. It isn’t super sticky or anything. It is quite easy to apply specially if you use the deep root comb which comes along with it. But if you are more comfortable applying with fingers, you can do that too. After application, I usually let it sit overnight. This never gives me hair fall after oiling. In the morning, I wash it off with a shampoo. I have been using the Kesh King shampoo these days and the duo are quite good when used together. The shampoo again has all these amazing ingredients as the oil. It cleans the hair really well. What I like is the fact that after using this shampoo, my hair does get tangled up. When paired with this oil, it leaves the hair feeling silky soft. On the long run, I feel like the Kesh king hair oil does help control hair fall. But make sure your hair fall isn’t caused by any hormonal imbalances or nutrient deficiencies. When used regularly, you will notice a difference in your hair because this oil is completely made of most amazing natural Ayurvedic components. Some of these are pretty rare to find alone. But this oil has made the task so much easier because we get a combination of all of these in a single bottle. Now let me tell you about my experience in a chronological order (I’ve used the Kesh King oil & Kesh King Shampoo) 1 week after using the Kesh King Oil – So its been one week since I’ve been using this oil. I’ve used it three times till now. I’ve applied the oil on my scalp and let it stay overnight. Used the Kesh King shampoo in the morning to wash off. I didn’t experience any increased hair fall post oiling or shampooing. In face, it appeared to be less than usual. After hair wash, my hair are softer and silkier even if I skip using a conditioner. But if you have very dry hair, then don’t skip a conditioner. Till now, I feel quite satisfied with the duo. Please make sure to wrap a towel or any other think cloth over your pillow to avoid oil stains if you are going to keep it in your hair overnight. 2 weeks after using the Kesh King Oil – After 2 weeks, my hair feel softer and less frizzy than usual. It has surely reduced hair fall. I feel it works the best when applied on the roots in a gentle massaging motion. Don’t be harsh. You can use a wide tooth comb after oiling your hair, that actually makes me feel super relaxed. Because it has a really organic sort of an aroma, it almost feels like you’re getting an Ayurvedic spa in Kerala backwaters. On the hair, I continue to notice the same effects. I am happy about what it has done to my hair. Overall Verdict – If you’re someone struggling with hair fall or other minor scalp troubles, surely give this oil a try. This does not show 100% effects in a single use. But with continued usage, this has helped reduce hair fall. Other than reducing hair fall, I really liked how it made the hair softer and more manageable. Its actually pretty affordable price wise and the composition includes the top best Ayurvedic oils for hair, so why not give this a try. The deep root comb actually makes the application easier and quicker. This oil can be used by both girls as well as boys. PROs of
